How To Make a perfect Bhatura?

Chola bhatura.... Ufff what a heavenly combination!! Making chola is every homemaker's cup of tea,but where most of us struggle is bhatura. Just few simple tricks to follow and boom.... You'll have a wonderful puffed bhatura on your plate.

Ingredients:
_____________

Maida : 3 cup
Suji : ½ cup
Curd : ½ cup
Baking powder:1 tbsp
Water
Oil :2 tbsp
Oil for frying

Procedure:
___________

Take a bowl and put maida along suji. Add 2 tbsp of oil and mash until it is mixed properly. Now add our magical ingredient baking powder. This will help it to puff as soon as you dip it to fry. Add curd and start kneading dough whilst adding water. Knead it into smooth dough and allow it to rest for at least 2 hour.

Now make balls of required size and start rolling as you do for roti. But remember that it would be a little thicker than that of roti. Heat the oil in the frying pan, when its extremely hot put the rolled puri into it and turn the flame to medium. Mark this step. Help the bhatura to puff while in oil by applying a little pressure with the help of frying spoon. After frying place it on a tissue paper so that excess oil will be soaked in it.
Enjoy your bhatura with chola.... And some salad and pickle.
